How to Make Weed Tea: Recipe & Instructions

Mid afternoon and your looking for a pick me up? Try out this easy to make green tea recipe. Now before going any further, this is not your typical green tea. We are going to be brewing up cannabis infused tea that does more than just taste great :)

For this you will need the following.

  • Your favorite tea
  • 1-3 teaspoons of finely ground cannabis
  • 1 tsp of butter or cannabutter

I personally enjoy Tazo tea, it is very strong and has a nice herbal flavor to it which is great for masking the taste of the cannabis. While weed smells great and the smoke tastes great, the actual herb is not that tasty so a strong tea works best in this case. Normally I am very specific when it comes to the measurement of ingredients but weed tea is a little different. It’s subjective like coffie and every person has their own personal tastes. I find it best to do a little experimentation yourself to find out what you like best. I personally like my tea best with 1-2 grams of cannabis which will leave you with a nice buzz.

Cut a small hole in your tea bag and add the finely ground cannabis to the tea mix. Once you have the cannabis in the tea bag, add the bag, along with a tablespoon of butter or cannabutter to hot water and enjoy! Yes, it’s really that easy. Check out the video demonstration below to walk you through the process step by step. As with most marijuana related recipes, the longer you let you thc extract, the more potent your food/drink will be. Drink Up!
