How to Make Peanut Hash Brittle: Recipe, Instructions & Video

Today we are going to be preparing peanut hash brittle which will be heated to a high temerature so some of the cannabinoids could deteriorate. However, the THC content remains preserved so enjoy your treat but make sure you do so in small doses.

  • 1 cup of raw cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or molasses of honey
  • 1-2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of peanuts
  • 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 grams of resin hash or cannabis oil

  • Large heavy very thick bottomed pan with a cover
  • Second pan without cover
  • Spoons
  • Heating stove
  • Oven
  • Tray
  • Parchment paper

Set a tray with the parchment paper and keep aside. In the smaller pan melt the butter on low heat. Break up the hash and add to the pan with the butter. Once the hash melts remove from the heat and place it in the oven to decarboxylate for 15 minutes at 200°F.

In the second heavy bottomed pan add water and heat. Add raw cane sugar once the water is heated. Place the lid on the pan. The steam will drip into the sugar and prevent crystallization. Add the maple syrup and cover so the mixture does not crystallize. Add the peanuts and continue to stir as often as required so that the peanuts do not stick to the bottom. Be careful with the temperature so that you don’t burn the mixture. With a cooking thermometer, monitor the temperature. Wait till mixture with sugar reaches its crack stage at 300°F switch off the heat. Now quickly add the cannabis butter and hash, a pinch of salt and baking soda. Stir thoroughly and then spread out quickly on the prepared tray with the baking sheet. Once cooled to room temperature place in the fridge.  Once cooled break the rectangle into pieces and enjoy the treat.

Get ripped if you want but be careful. Begin very slowly with a 5gm piece which is considered a mild dosage and a 10 gram piece for moderate dosage. The heavy dosage begins with a 15gm piece and 20 gm is a hippie of a dose. Start small and wait for an hour or so before you increase your dosage to get the feel of being in a stony heaven. Don’t try the hippie dosage unless you are used to marijuana or it could prove too potent for you.

Do not use beat sugar as it is genetically modified. Do not use corn oil it is acid forming and genetically modified. Do not use table salt.  Sugar hardens the cell wall and prevents the body from feeling on a cellular level so use the peanut hash brittle very moderately. As always, we’ve included a video walkthrough for you to follow along.
