How to Make Cannabis Milk: Recipe & Instructions

Until now, cereal was once just a favorite snack stoners would eat after smoking. But, what if I told you that you can start your day off with a bowl of cereal that gets you high? That’s right, with ‘Cannamilk’ as it’s often called, you can! This is one of our all time favorite recipes due to it’s wide range of uses. It can be drank on it’s own, mixed with cereal or used in other weed infused recipes. Many weed infused recipes will call for the use of milk instead of butter or oil. This is because the fat in milk can be infused with THC the same way that that it infuses with butter and oil. Personally, I like to use it in conjugation with your cannabutter if the recipe calls for it. So with no further ado, we are going to need the following to get started.

Ingredients:

When making Cannabis Milk, you should us aproximately 3.5 grams of cannabis per 1 cup of milk.

  • 1/2 ounce of high quality marijuana
  • 4 cups of milk

We will also need a fine screen mesh to filter out the buds and I suggest having some paper towels handy just in case things get messy. A cheese cloth can also be used but I would suggest against using a coffee scraper. Now, the first step to this recipe is to add the milk to a crock pot (a double boiler or pan will also work) and bring the milk to a simmer on medium heat. Once you have the milk simmering, add in in the finely ground up cannabis and let it infuse with the milk for around an hour. It is very important that the milk does not come to a boil or start bubbling. This will throw off the recipe and the milk will not be as potent as it otherwise would have.

After the mixture has simmered for an hour, let it cool and strain out the marijuana with strainer or cheese cloth. Then, place the milk into a closed off container and refrigerate until using. It should not come as a surprise, but this milk needs to be used by the expiration date on the original jug. It can be easy to forget this with all the movement, but it should be noted on the stored container. Believe me, drinking spoiled milk is no fun! As I mentioned before, you can drink this milk straight, make cereal or use it in another recipe. If you’re going to be drinking this straight, don’t forget you chocolate chip pot cookies.
